The World EXPO-2020 opened in Dubai on October 1, 2021.

The World Expos have been held every five years since 1851. This is the first time the Expo is being held in the Middle East. The National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus is represented by the Innovations and Investments zone which demonstrates the country's investment climate, innovative developments and promising business projects in various sectors of the Belarusian economy.

For the entire period of the exhibition (01.10.2021-31.03.2022), Joint Stock Company "Polotsk-Steklovolokno" is represented in the National Pavilion by the exposition of silica fabrics which are in demand in the UAE and the Gulf States. The representatives of Joint Stock Company "Polotsk-Steklovolokno" also take an active part in the business events of the Republic of Belarus within the framework of EXPO-2020: October 4, 2021 - in the Vitebsk Region Days, November 24, 2021 - in the Days of Presenting the Potential of the Petrochemical Industry of the Republic of Belarus.

For an interested business audience, the presentation of the company was held. Representatives of various countries, including those from the Middle East, showed interest in our products, and in the course of the negotiations, prospects for cooperation were discussed.
